The genre: the odalisque and death. A melange of Bellocq and Ensor, where death is a friend, lover, with us, beside us. Bataille is at the table as well.

Also: the overlapping imageries across cultures, religions, and hysterias of the body in various iterations of the arc de cercle too. I’m gonna upload all my materials one of these days.
